BEFORE AND AFTER – Kitchen Remodel Designed in a Click Consultation — DESIGNED

style and design problem inquiries

1) How can I position my appliances, island and pantry so that I can competently use the area? (They didn’t need to have the desk any more.)

2) What fashion new window and window treatment options really should I install?

3) Where should I close the backsplash?

They were going to retain the wood ground, but anything else would be new.

My reaction:

I imagine it will be most price productive to try to go away the footprint the similar, therefore I do not imagine you should really modify the pantry. I do consider you could do a far more narrow island, something custom made, to get additional area there on each sides.

I also imagine you really should relocate the fridge to the desk region and transfer the wall ovens to the room exactly where you have the fridge. You get in and out of the fridge just about every day far more usually than you get into the oven, so that will hold your biggest activity above on that aspect of the island. Your cooktop could then be centered in the wall area there.

It seems to be like you have a common depth refrigerator, I would undoubtedly go counter depth. Even just a couple of inches will help on all those and they come to feel far more “constructed-in” hunting. Your wall oven then will experience significantly less intrusive over there than your fridge does now.

I think performing these modifications will make you come to feel like you have a lot more space and will give you a much more purposeful kitchen with no shaving off some of that pantry. It seems to be like a good, roomy pantry, which is generally awesome to have.
